The Guthrie Opportunity Center is a non-profit organization serving people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in the Nelson County, KY community. Our mission is to enhance their lives and the lives of the families who love them. Through job training, community employment, day services, advocacy, arts and social recreation, our goal is to assist these citizens with finding new friends, realizing future career paths, seeking independence and community integration, and unleashing creative passions.

We provide meaningful employment for the developmentally disabled through a variety of contract work opportunities with community partners, including sorting, package assembly, product labeling and more. Our services include supportive employment, case management, behavior support, therapeutic services, support brokers, respite, community living support, outcomes and strategies, and day training.

There are many ways to help the Guthrie Opportunity Center. Through our Capital Campaign, Fundraising Opportunities and Individual Donations, we are succeeding. Be a part of the Guthrie Opportunity Center today by donating to this great cause. Help change a life.
