Employment

Programs

Through Employment Services, the GO Center partners with Communicare and local businesses—such as Heaven Hill, Fastenal, and others to provide contract work and placements. Participants engage in sorting, package assembly, product labeling, and on-site work, supported by job coaching and follow-up services. Our dedication to meaningful employment and non-discrimination ensures that individuals are matched with roles that align with their skills and help them thrive in the workplace. This program promotes long-term career development while teaching accountability, professionalism, and resilience. Employment Services helps individuals not only find jobs, but also build careers and independence through real, consistent support.

Greenhouse & GaRdening

Program

In our Greenhouse program, participants learn seasonal growing techniques, greenhouse maintenance, planting, and harvesting. As they nurture seedlings, tend to lush plant beds, and manage daily care, they develop responsibility, patience, and practical horticultural skills. This program supports sustainability education and empowers individuals through hands‑on learning in a real work environment. Working in the greenhouse helps participants strengthen fine motor skills, develop routines, and experience the satisfaction of nurturing something from seed to harvest. Their efforts also directly support other GO Center programs, such as On The GO Foods and community partnerships.
